Having studied the History of Architecture, I have a strong interest in older houses and the character, style, and history they possess. Historic Home Inspiration will feature residences of renown paired with a collection of images they inspire. There is no better way to kick start the series than to feature the most famous American residence: The White House.
The White House was designed by architect James Hoban, and was constructed from 1792-1800.
