HISTORIC HOME INSPIRATION - THE BREAKERS


The Breakers mansion was constructed from 1893-1895 as the summer "cottage" of Cornelius Vanderbilt II, in Newport, RI. Overlooking the Atlantic, this remarkable mansion is a remnant of the Gilded Age and is the top tourist attraction in the state of Rhode Island.
